Title: The educational and humanizing role of motor activities in the presence of natural disasters
Abstract: This contribution aims to highlight how during a post-catastrophe intervention,motor activities can be a suitable educational tool for overcoming themoments of difficulties caused by the trauma.In an atmosphere of consciousness, motor activity can be used during thenthe immediate phase as well as all the phases of the post-catastrophe interventionin order to create a more secure and structured environment thusrepresenting an optimal educational tool of social inclusion and psychophysicalrebalancing.The work also aims to highlight the formative role of Special Olympicswhose educational peculiarity is represented by the ability to improve thequality of life of the person involved and the ability to create a more openand welcoming society for everyone.

Abstract: Il presente contributo intende mettere in risalto come in una fase di interventopost-catastrofe, l'attività motoria possa rappresentare uno strumentoeducativo adatto a superare i momenti di difficoltà causati dal trauma.In un clima di "coscientizzazione" l'attività motoria può essere utilizzata,quindi, durante la fase immediata e in tutti i momenti di intervento post-catastrofeallo scopo di creare un ambiente più sicuro e strutturato, rappresentando,pertanto, un ottimo strumento educativo, di inclusione sociale e diriequilibrio psicofisico.Il lavoro vuole, inoltre, sottolineare il ruolo formativo di Special Olympics,la cui peculiarità educativa è rappresentata dalla capacità di migliorare laqualità di vita della persona coinvolta e dalla possibilità di creare una societàpiù aperta ed accogliente per tutti.
